What is Reiki?

Reiki has its origins in Buddism and the ancient methods of healing which developed in the Far East.

Reiki can be described as 'the life force of the Universe'; a powerful energy source which we can be tapped into to aid healing and help bring balance to any situation.

Reiki is a non invasive method of healing. There is no massage or structural manipulation involved, and the client is fully clothed throughout this very gentle and relaxing treatment.
The intent of a treatment is to improve energy flow through the systems of the body, stimulating the body's healing and balance mechanisms, both physically and emotionally.

Reiki can help alleviate many symptoms, both physical such as headaches, pain, poor digestion, and emotional such as stress, anxiety and depression.
Reiki can also help bring balance in all aspects of life, from health to relationships and career achievements. Reiki will help to draw what is right for you and may help you to make decisions which change your life for the better

Testimonials:

'I truly believe that Reiki has opened up so much for me this year; I am having the best year of my life!'  (Emma)

‘My overall health has improved since I have been self treating with Reiki.  For example, I used to have so many cold sores, it’d be unusual for me not to have one.  Since being attuned to Reiki (three weeks before), I have only had one.  I have also lost my fear of dogs.  I feel I understand them more.’ (Sally)

'I was amazed by one of the techniques we practiced during the course as it reduced my severe tooth ache by 90%, and at the same time released quite a lot of emotion.' (Louise)

'Having experienced severe period pains most of my life, which would actually wake me up at night, I have used one of the Reiki techniques to reduce the pain from intense to barley noticeable.' (Dom)

‘I feel I don’t have to worry any more.  Everything seems to be going right for me without even trying.
I also find that I have a better understanding of my horse ’ (Hesione)

‘Reiki has really helped my two year old when he is having a tantrum.  He calms down almost instantly when I put my hand on his forehead.’ (Lou)
