Saturday 25th February, 1.45pm - 5pm. An Introduction to Applied
Zoopharmacognosy (animal self selection of plant oils and powders for health and well-being).
Students are
provided with a practical understanding of this method, and information on a selection of plant oils
and powders. Students also receive samples of products to take home.
It is possible for students to bring their
own pets on this course, but please contact Jo first to discuss.

This workshop explores how major muscles of the horse generate movement of the limbs and
body by painting muscles on live horses. Students also learn how to apply passive stretches to help improve
range of movement.
Students must have a basic understanding of equine anatomy and the way the horse moves, and be competent
at handling horses.

reduce pain, relieve stress, improve energy and overall health, plus simple nutritional testing. At this level
techniques learnt can be used to help family and friends. Students can continue through 4 further weekends (plus

knowledge on easily identifiable hedgerow plants, plus a practical session in drying and macerating the
hedge plants. We will also observe animal responses when offered fresh, dried and macerated hedge plants for
self selection.

Day 1: Scanning the energy field (people only workshops day)
Students will use muscle testing to help them to scan the energy fields in and around eachother, and to apply corrections
where there are imbalances.
Day 2: Reflective sensitivity: helping to enhance well-being
in animals.
Students will be observing behavioural changes in animals, reflective to
the themselves before and after they have received an energy balance.
They will explore reactions
to movement, touch and actions, noting sensitivities in the animal's behaviour, and how these reactions affect their energy.
The student will learn to scan and balance their own energies to reflect the animals' behaviour and
energy, therefore helping to create a positive relationship and enhanced well-being.
Students will learn to become more
sensitive to the animals' wellbeing needs: how and where to touch, and how to move them. Change in sensitivity
in the animals' behaviour will be noted throughout the day.
