Nutritional Therapy

DSCF01141.jpg

Both physically and emotionally we are very much affected by what we eat.

Jo's knowledge of nutrition, anatomy and body chemistry combined with Kinesiology, enables her to assess the body for imbalances, and determine which nutritional suplement or dietary change is required to help re-balance the whole system.

Jo’s approach and method of treating means any changes in diet and supplements are kept to a minimum.

Nutritional therapy can help with:

Weight management
Digestive disorders
Skin, nails and hair problems
Fatigue
Anxiety and insomnia
Mood swings
Poor concentration
Toxin elimination
Food intolerances
Recurrent infection
Chronic pain and injury repair

Testimonials

Hay fever and over weight:
David came to see me at the beginning of the hay fever season.  Every year he was debilitated by severe hay fever and was already starting to suffer.  I assessed him using nutritional kinesiology which showed up a wheat allergy and zinc deficiency.  After a simple three week program to address these issues he returned for his follow up appointment.  He had barely noticed the hay fever, and was incredibly pleased that had also lost weight!

Digestive upset:

Frank suffered regularly from digestive upset.  He found it hard to socialise, not knowing what was going to set off his uncomfortable problem.  I assessed him, and recommended dietary change and the addition of a couple of supplements.  After only a couple of weeks, he told me that he was 'very pleased to feel normal again', and although he has to be aware of avoiding some foods, his social life was 'much more enjoyable'.

Low energy:
Maddy had been signed off work with stress for two months and was keen to return, but too tired to make that step.  I assessed her, and decided to combine some nutritional changes along with some emotional self help techniques.  I recommended change of diet, combined with the addition of a few supplements.  Maddy returned to see me twice more over the next 4 weeks, and was able to return to work the following month.
'I'm really pleased that I have been empowered to help myself get back on track.  I feel my energy improving all the time, and have even managed to get back into my passion of cycling.'
