Summer Foraging and preparing hedge herbs, plus animal application through self selection

Learn about our native Summer hedge plants, and animal self medication. This workshop provides knowledge on easily identifiable hedgerow plants, with invited horticultural experts in foraging.
The foraging section of the day (9.30am – 1pm only) can be attended by anyone interested at £50 per person.

The afternoon session is aimed at those on the Animal Herbal Choices course.  A practical session in making flower essences, macerated oils, balms, poultices, and compresses with the hedge plants to use over the rest of the year, with a section on making essences. We will also observe animal responses when offered fresh, dried and macerated hedge plants for self selection.
