This day covers an overview of structural anatomy; the skeletal and muscular systems, and includes discussion on movement and performance, plus issues that can be caused through incorrect riding.

Students learn to find bony prominence’s / muscle attachment areas through practical palpation exercises, and painting the skeleton on horses. Students then palpate and paint on the major muscles, and are provided with information on their function and dysfunction issues.

The course is open to anyone, as a CPD, or for knowledgeable horse owners for interest purposes and is part of the Merishia Massage course for horses.
