Touch for Health 1 Kinesiology Training

This is part one of a five part practitioner course, certificated by the International Kinesiology College.

Touch for Health is a truly holistic therapy which combines a variety of massage techniques with acupressure, meridian therapy, emotional stress relief techniques, nutrition and goal setting to enhance health and well-being. Touch for Health is non-invasive (recipients are fully clothed), and can be done anywhere (with the recipient standing, sitting or lying). No experience is necessary to take part in this course.

During the training for part one, students learn:

  • to assess posture and muscle function
  • how to goal set to change habits and facilitate positive change
  • to help improve body awareness, co-ordination, muscle function and posture
  • to help relieve pain and emotional stress
  • to improve the body’s self regulatory and detoxification systems
  • to improve lymphatic drainage and circulation
  • to improve energy flow within the body
  • to improve overall health
  • to find out which foods enhance the body’s energy
  • how to apply these techniques via a surrogate to others

At the end of part one, students have enough knowledge to perform a full balance on friends and family to benefit their health and well-being, plus they will have many techniques to improve their own well-being.

Students also receive a certificate from the International College of Kinesiology on completion of each two day part.

Further modules provide students with a greater depth of knowledge, including Chinese medicine theories, food testing, more bodywork assessment and correction techniques, further techniques in postural pain relief and stress relief, plus colour, sound and further meridian as a means of balancing the body.

On completion of the 5 parts, plus case studies, homework questions and an assessment, students qualify to practice as a Touch for Health Kinesiologist.
