Animal Applied Herbal Choices: Essential Oils, Macerated Oils, and Dried Herbs

This module of the Herbal Choices for Animals course provides students with knowledge on the properties and traditional uses of a variety of oils, herbs, macerated oils, essential oils and hydrosols. Students will gain first hand experience in self selection as they explore their own sensory reactions to the products (smell and taste). A session on making hydrofoils is also included. The course will also include practical application to animals using applied behaviour (self selection).
