Bitting for the Equine Practitioner and Instructors with Hilary Vernon
June 13 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm£100
POSTPONED, BUT PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED AND WE WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN WE CAN RUN THIS AGAIN
Hilary Vernon is a full time Bitting Clinician and has also produced her own range of bits: ‘Informed Designs‘.
As a trained saddle fitter and riding instructor, she looks at the whole picture when she works with a horse and rider. Hilary has been working in the industry, including provision of lectures and clinics for owners, trainers and therapists, for 30 years.
This practical CPD day is aimed at the equestrian professional, providing them with information and practical sessions on…
- How global biomechanics of the ridden horse can be compromised by poor bitting; leading to poor performance and behavioural issues.
- Assessing the individual in terms of cranial bones and mouth and ridden performance for bitting issues and requirements.
- Discussion on the bigger picture: handling, training and owner expectations.
- Demonstration on how the appropriate bit can dramatically enhance performance of the ridden horse.
