Canine Biomechanics and Assessment for Dysfunction
October 9 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm£95
Liz Tyrrell-Asprey Canine Physiotherapist, and teacher for TCAP and Merishia will be facilitating this Canine Biomechanics CPD course. This CPD is primarily aimed at Merishia Massage students and graduates, but we welcome canine massage graduates from other training centres.
Please note that the fee stated is for Merishia graduates and students, and is at a reduced rate from our usual fee to £80. Anyone who has not trained with Merishia will pay the full fee of £95. This course will be run near Bath, Somerset.
Liz specialises in canine physio for rehabilitation, performance and maintenance. She helps dogs with a variety of conditions on a daily basis and specialises in assessing and helping biomechanics dysfunctions that are created through compensations from physical issues. With this knowledge, Liz can produce a suitable program to help strengthen and improve range and comfort in movement.
The aim of the day is to provide knowledge and practical skills in biomechanics in relation to range of movement in the healthy dog and those with presenting conditions. This will include observation of gait, and palpation skills, plus focus on mobilisation assessment of problem joints, and expectations of the range of movement for different conditions.
Participants are welcome to bring their dogs.
