Equine Myofascial Release CPD course aimed at qualified Equine Massage and Physical Therapists of any kind.
With Dawn Seaman (EEBW, dip AM OCEPT, dip HM ITEC)
Myofascial Release is a modality in its own right; releasing long standing areas of tension, facilitating skeletal realignment, and includes particular detailed work on C7/T1, hyoid, scars, the thoracic sling and psoas. It can easily be integrated with other modalities to make deep seated changes.
9.15am – 4.00pm
Module 1: 2 days. These effective indirect Myofascial Release techniques can often be the missing key to solving chronic pain and long standing misalignments. Day 1 will give students the opportunity to practice on each other, and be introduced to equine application. Day 2 will continue with supervised equine application, working on horses within a competition yard.
Module 2 (Dural torque). 2 days: 19/20 June
This focuses on cranial work and the relationship between the cranium and the sacrum, plus additional techniques. Student must have had at least 4 month gap between part 1 and part 2 training.
Module 3 (quick fire releases and the extremities). 1 day: 21 June. Can be done in combination with part 2
