Open to anyone who is keen to integrate living herbs into a usable manageable herb garden, and will provide 6.5 CPD hours for Applied Herbal Choices and Zoopharmacognosy qualified professionals.
Hosted by Rachael Maxwell; horticulturalist, Medicinal herbalist and Applied Animal Herbal Choices consultant.
The course will cover the development a herb garden using a variety of species that can be incorporated into any space, big or small. This includes a variety of shrubs to give structure and form: perennials and annuals for repeated and often showy flowering, plus climbers for height and integrating into hedgrows and trees.
Each of the plants will be described in detail to cover, how to plant, where to plant and best times of year to plant and harvest.
All species will be described in detail for their actions and uses and how they may benefit our horses and dogs. We will have a selection of smaller plug plants that can be added directly to the paddocks to help increase species diversity.
As part of the day, Rachael will be providing a variety of plants for you to take away at an additional cost of £100. More or less can be added as you require. £100 will be a great supply for you to start the process of introducing herbs into your animals environment. Plus you will be able to divide and increases next year. If you do not require the plants, no problem your most welcome to join for the day.
If you would like to join Rachael will need numbers as soon as possible to ensure the plants are grown and available.
This is a live in person event, so numbers limited.
This is a great opportunity to get your hands into the beauty and soul of the earth and is open to both consultants and owners. We will have room and space to explore, grow and breathe respecting social distancing guidelines.
