This CPD course provides the equine or canine manual therapist with two complementary methods that create a vibration into the tissue with the aim of releasing tension.
These are non invasive approaches that stimulate the body’s natural mechanisms to reduce pain and tension, and to aid in realignment of joints, thereby aiding nerve function and correct comfortable movement.
This day is taught by Jo Rose, who trained in the McTimoney Corley approach in 2011. With approval from the Association of McTimoney Corley Spinal Therapists, she has taken the finger vibration move of the Reflex Recoil Adjustment and simplified this further to be integrated into other therapeutic approaches for qualified therapists. This McTimoney Corley approach can aid release and realignment cranial bones as well spinal and pelvic bones.
Maintaining the theme of release of tension through vibration application, Jo also includes use of a tuning fork to facilitate release of myofascial and emotional tension. The tuning forks can borrowed on the day, and are a very affordable extra piece of kit for those who want to include them in practice.
